Registration Declined!

i AM BEYOND FURIOUS AT THIS MOMENT. JUST THIS MORNING I RECIEVCED THIS EMAIL FROM VMK!

Thank you for your interest in the Pool Party Room Competition. As stated in the Newsletter, registration is limited to the first 200 teams.
We have now reached our capacity for this event and must decline your team's registration.

We hope you will join us in VMK Friday August 4 thru Sunday August 6 to check out the hundreds of rides.

I SENT OUR REGISTRATION INTO VMK ON MONDAY MORNING. THERE IS NO WAY THAT OUR TEAM DID NOT MAKE THE FIRST 200 WHEN PEOPLE THAT ENTERED ON WEDNESDAY WERE STILL BEING ACCEPTED. SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG AND ONCE AGAIN YOU KNOW VMK IS GONNA DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. BE PREPARED THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE NOT HEARD YET!!

It makes no sense. If the reason is they are full and I sent my registration on Monday, how are teams being accepted later in the week. IT MAKES NO SENSE!!

Our team sent our registration in on Monday morning at about 8 a.m. And we were getting worried too because many teams who were getting accepted had been sending them in at midnight and 1 a.m. I thought it'd be hard to believe, but then again, East Coast people are up earlier than West Coast people, so they had an advantage there. But yet, just know quite a number dropped their registration in starting at midnight.

Super. We entered Monday as well, still haven't heard anything back..Guess we would have been better off waiting until Weds.

We were denied due to me messing up the dang application. I sent in two more fixed versions and now, I'm doubting we'll be taking part in the event. Which probably wont be so bad after remembering the EE event. Our main focus was to establish a water park that we will keep. Looks like it will open much earlier, and we will be spared of lifeless shallow end sitting and huge disappointments from losing, because that's what happens when you win too much.

I've got a VMK "big wig"s phone line that helped clear things up when we recieved no response during the EE sign up, I'll be trying that again Monday and hopefully, my little peep status will benifit my lack of intelligence.

Ok, now I just heard that Staff KNEW there was a problem with people that sent in registrations on Monday around opening and for several hours after.

Go figure, everyone that hasn't heard back..registered monday!

Yet AGAIN VMK messes up and we all suffer! There was nothing wrong with our registration, so if they were full on Monday, then nobody else should have gotten in. I sent them message saying that.

Oh dear, I just know the little kid who was heading up our team hasn't registered. Oh well....I think he is going to be upset.

Actually not all the teams that haven't hear back registered on Monday as we have not heard back yet. I would say our probability is slipping - since they have 200 teams and we are not aware that we are one of them. Sorry for the team non-acceptance. I would say we entered this but we started this with no illution after the last event and I guess I will stick to my promise not to complainabout it in light of that.

True, after a while, you get kicked so much, it simply stops hurting. Never again though. I am not interested in doing any more events.

Sorry so many teams missed the 200 cut-off. I sent in our team's registration at 1am Monday. I knew it would fill up fast, 200 teams is not all that many. I heard back in-game Monday at 2pm. I would guess anyone who tried to register their teams after Monday would have missed the cut-off.
I hope all of you will ride the team slides, regardless of your feelings towards vmk staff. I also would hope you open your rides up for everyone to enjoy, rather than tear them down.

I registered at 10:20 am Eastern time, I did not miss the cut off. VMK messed up!
