Registering AP...Magic Band...so confused!

OK, so, when I try to click on log in or register my AP in the regular disneyworld site under pass holders, it just brings me back to the regular screen.
There doesn't seem to be a place to do it on the DVC members site.
So, I have 2 rooms reserved in August at my home resort (AKL). They're going to send me magic bands for all of us? How will they know who has APs and who has regular tix, etc My friends in the other room will have regular tickets, DH, DD and I will have APs.

The start date for Magic Bands has not been announced. They are still working on testing. I wouldn't worry about it until it is announced.

For the APs, you would add them as an 'Affiliation' to your MDE Profile under the 'About Me' section.

So, my AP and DVC numbers are in there...
but when I try to add another affiliation, it doesn't give me any options. Do I need to create separate accounts for my DH and my 10 year old? I hope not, that'll be such a pain to keep track of!

I really don't know if you will need to create disneyworld.com accounts for everyone in order to pre-order MagicBands once they become available or not. Disney has not released much information yet.

I would call and ask. Can the 10 year old even have a Disney account?

I know the last time I did a FastPass+ test as a CM we didn't have to have separate accounts. Under our "vacation" just I as the "booker" had a Disney account and then the 2 other "room occupants" just had their name on it and we could individually change things all from the same account.

(I put things in quotes because I was not actually staying on site as a guest but was a CM doing the first wave of CM testing for the Fastpass portion.)
