Registering a ChampionChip?

Hey guys, since I didn't opt for the commemorative ChampionChip when I first registered for the marathon, I had to end up going through the CC website and buying the chip there. It finally came today (yay!), with a note instructing me that if I'm already registered for a race, I need to contact them and let them know what my new number is. Is there some number or email address I need to send this info to Disney at, or will they just record it when I go to the packet pickup etc at the expo?

The official website for the WDW half lists the e-mail address as disneylandhalf@emmi.com, which I thought was weird. I'll try this disneysports one instead.

FYI, if you put your mouse over the link or actually click on it, the email address that you will be sending to is DisneySports@Emmi.com . I think they must have cut and pasted from the DL 1/2 page.
