Register for Kids Clubs Online?

I thought I read somewhere on here that we could sign our kid(s) up before we arrive for the Oceaneers Lab/Club, but I didn't see that during the online check in process. Do any of you know about that? It would be nice to get that out of the way!

When you are in the online check in folders, at the bottom of the screen you should see a link to register them for the clubs.

Go into the DCL website, pull up your reservation and then click on "My Cruise Activities", and it should be near the bottom. It says "Child Registration". I'm not sure if it was there before I actually checked in, it may have only shown up after...

the link to register will be at the bottom of the screen before your booking window opens, but if you attempt to put all the information in and submit it you'll get a server error. Once you're in your booking window, it seems to work perfectly though:

I have another question. Is this registration for children of all ages? I ask because I was only able to register my 8 year old and not my 13 or 11 year old children. This is our first Disney cruise so new to all of this. Would I have to register them in person?
