Regis & Kelly...in WDW 5/9-13

How does one get tickets to see Regis and Kelly In DisneyWorld, I just looked at their website and there is no information about them even being there. Where do you go to find out about tickets, does anyone have any info?

oh no!!! That is smack dab in the middle of our trip. Does this really impact the parks?? Will things be closed off because of them??

And just curious, how does one go about getting tickets to such an event?? Would it be nuts to even try (I'm thinking my mom would love it). I looked on their website but didn't see anything.

Hubby and I were there in 2000 when Rosie O'Donnell was taping her show from Animal Kingdom. I know that you could try for tickets a few months ahead of time, but we weren't able to get any. We just happened to go to AK on her first day of taping and got into the standby line in hopes of being admitted. It worked and we had a great time! LOL

So if you are going to be there and don't have tickets, see if they have a standby line. I would say to try for the first show of the week or time that they are there, if there are more than one. For Rosie, I tried again a few days later and they were no longer even letting people in for the standby line because by then the guests knew about her visit and more were trying to get into a show. Yikes! Ain't no stinkin' talk show gonna get in the way of my vacation. I'm gonna ride my rides- Regis/Kelly be "darned"!
Perhaps everyone will want to see the show- less people in lines.

This just hasn't been my day. This Regis/Kelly news just makes it worse. I can't handle either one of them!!!

You have GOT to be kidding! Regis and Kelly are going to be there the exact same dates as me! I was just feeling better over everyone thinking it was going to be alot more crowded because of the celebration and now this?!

Even though I don't watch them all the time, I do like Regis & Kelly, but that doesn't mean I want them horning in on my Disney World trip!

I wonder if there will be any way to get a taping schedule so people can avoid that park/area if they want to?

DW and I bought a package for the Live With Regis and Kelly Show 2 or 3 years ago. Regis was doing the WWTBAM show at the time and they taped that show at the MGM millionaire bldg..

The live show was on New York Street and had a live show one day followed by a show they taped and the same thing the next day. The people that bought the package stayed at the AKL, along with some of the celebrities on the WWTBAM show. The millionaire show featured Olympic champions. I believe both Regis and Kelly stayed at the GF. The group had lunch with Kelly at the GF. She was real pleasant to everyone at lunch. She visited each table and we got our picture taken with her. She was very cute.

They will probably be Live from one location - its been in differing spots over the years but typically they are somewhat out of the way and people need tickets to get into the taping.

Typically they do the taping over only a couple of days with one of the shows pretty early - perhaps even before the park is open.

It will in no way affect crowds in the parks (in my opinion)

The only time one might notice it is after the taping is over and the group dissipates or if you are at the hotel and on the same floor as the celebrities.

I do also believe that typcially Regis and Kelly are not even at the same hotel. I think he generally stays at the GF, I have heard Kelly speak (by this I mean on the show) of the Poly and AKL...I think she really likes it there.

I have been at Disney while things have been taped - shows anyway -- and they really dont cause much of a problem at all. Parades are a little different to navigate around.

OK, I was excited when I first read that Regis and Kelly would be there the EXACT dates that I will be there, but now after I read what ya'll have to say, I am getting nervous . Are the crowds that much worse???? Will it make it harder for me to ride rides (that's all I care about)?

BOO it's not fair, this is our first trip EVER to disney and we are staying at the GF, so I hope it does'nt impact things. I stayed at a hotel where the SPEED and TNT crews where staying for a Nextel Cup weekend and with all the crew there the hotel was PACKED!!!!! I hope it won't be the same......

Anyone know where you can get tickets? My daugher has had a really rough year medically and loves Regis and Kelly. We're going to be there 5/8-5/14 and would love for her to be able to see them.

Hi all,

I just heard from a friend that has inside work scoop, that Regis and Kelly will be doing a live remote from WDW in honor of the 50th....just thought I would pass on the info for those interested.

I will be trying to avoid the crowds they bring. I have been at DL with them there and it can get a little crazy...

I've called Disney and checked on the Regis & Kelly website and can find no information about their visit. When I called yesterday, they said call back in a week. I called this morning and the CM said they had no info about Regis & Kelly. Any ideas where I call call??
