Regarding the "I'm leaving the DIS/VMK" Posts

I do agree with the amount of posts that get generated with the "I am leaving" threads. I would however like if maybe a MOD could start a thread for only those who are serious about leaving. The reason I would want a MOD is so that the thread could be locked and only the VMK name posted by a MOD. No extra posts of "I am so sorry to see you go" or "please stay". No take backs either - meaning once you ask a MOD to post your leaving you can't just turn around and ask them to take your name off. Just an idea. Maybe not a good one, but an idea to think about.

most of the I am leaving threads are usually retracted by the poster.
