Regarding "Forum Search"..

We are trying a new search system. The system is actually run by an outside company called Board Tracker. The advantage to us is it should SERIOUSLY reduce server loads resulting in far less "server busy" messages and the ability of our existing servers to handle more traffic.
I will start a thread on the tech support board for this. If you see any problems please go to this thread:

my opinion it is not useable - their method is to search the entire board.... not just the board you want.

I'm with SpiceyCat on this one...

I can't get it to do what I want...

I used to search for my user name to keep track of all my posts not just the threads I started. I hate the new search.

I agree with the other posters. Hate the new search format. It is impossible to get info from one forum, let alone one thread. I tried for 10 minutes to do a search on a thread and I never was able to get my info. The old way, slow as it was, was far superior at accessing your info.

okay now that you can search only one forum - it isn't finding anything? even when I can find several of what I was looking for....

I usually go with the flow and simply adjust whenever anything new is done with the boards but the new search feature is making me I have used search a lot before asking something to avoid repeating a question if it has already been asked. I respectfully ask that some serious tweaking be done with this new search feature because I'm finding it useless and frustrating. Thank you for any help to get it back to some semblance of the old one.
