Has anyone stayed there? Bookit dot com is running a $79/night special. It is located inside Downtown Disney and has character dining onsite. Plus kids eat free with a paying adult.

I'm think of switching our resies...we are at Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista right now...this place looks like a steal.

I booked through bookit.com and it was for $69 a night about two months ago for the march break. I read alot of the travel reviews and they are just OK- but most of them are for before their renovation. We know from experience that we won't really spend much time there anyway since we'll be out and about- but it's all about the pool...it looks awesome!!

the pool looks wonderful. i called the hotel to see which rooms have Epcot/Illuminations view. They said the Tower Disney view rooms. with the sale and the $50 off a 3 night stay it works out to $96/night for the disney view rooms. i haven't booked yet. i was going to book a standard room but I so badly want a view of Illuminations. Our kids are 1 and 3 and i'm afraid they'll never make it to park closing I want to see it...even if it's just from a hotel room. And the character dining 3 days a week...same price as crystal palace for breakfast, but the convience of rolling out of bed and walking downstairs. The newest reviews on tripadvisor (new since yesterday) are both great.

Nice enough place. Don't get your heart set on Disney View rooms, though-we had ressies for one, king size-ended up with a view of the parking lot and two queen beds. Took for ever to check in at four o'clock. They only had two clerks working the front desk with probably eight or ten clients in each line. Check out was easy enough. The location is pretty hard to beat. Oh-the fire alarm went off at two in the morning, and we got to traipse down thirteen flights of stairs and hand around outside for an hour. Then, the elevators were so crowded going back up that we ended up climbing the thirteen flights to get back to our rooms. Other than that, nothing happened.
