Regal cinemas is opening back up starting april 3rd. My theatre doesn’t open until April 16th. Been over a year since we have been to the movies. Last movie we seen was onward. We went to a lot of movies we have regal unlimited. They opened back up maybe six months ago or so but never made it wasn’t anything good playing. Couple
Of good movies are out now and more coming soon.

Theaters have been open here since May. Haven’t been. Probably won’t go. I wasn’t a huge fan of the theaters pre-covid. Too many annoying people. Can’t imagine mixing annoying people with the threat of catching the virus.

Maybe for the Black Widow movie. I do have some gift cards for a couple of different movie chains to use.

this is about regal theatre's. Regal has been shut down for nearly all of covid. Things can be done safely. Sadly way too many people don’t do things safely as we have seen.
I work in a factory and wife works in a supermarket in hard hit New Jersey. We have been on vacations three times since covid. We go out to eat. We know how to do things safely. It’s not that hard.

I believe the movie theater business has been changed forever.

The way we consume movies has changed and I don’t see it going completely back to the old way, which is sad, I love going to the movies.

Regal is my go to theater. I still have 30 or so bulk tickets out of 50 I had purchased not long before the pandemic shutdown.

Looking forward to the opening and the releasing of new movies.

The Regal Cinema at Avalon in Atlanta is a really nice theatre.

The problem with the movie theater is that you and everyone else is eating popcorn and drinking soda, not ideal for protection against COVID. How are the rows setup? Are there plastic barriers between groups of seats? Not for me at this point.

We just finished watching Godzilla vs. Kong opening night on HBO max at home. Deeeee-freaking-lightful!

I am never stepping foot in a movie theater again. Stream it all AFAIC. No morons plopping down at the last minute directly in front of, next to or behind us, or loudly narrating the movie, or talking on the phone, or rustling wrappers, or smoking, or bringing their wailing infant, or getting shot or stabbed for having the audacity to "shush" someone. And of course, no Covid exposure and the popcorn and snacks are WAY better, my seat reclines and is much nicer than the recliners at the theater, and I can pause it to go to the bathroom (and the bathrooms aren't gross).

We are movie theater fans, been doing it for ages and make an evening of it usually 4 tickets and dinner, love the big soft recliners where we can pick seating... I really really miss it. Can't imagine sitting there and getting lost in a 3 hour movie with people around me anytime soon though, plus these places are run & cleaned by teenagers. Seems irresponsible and this sort of thing makes me deeply distrustful because plainly people are not the primary concern here.
Seems to be the main push in many businesses so I'm waiting and I'm watching... this rush is just prolonging my avoidance:/

I hope this doesn’t mean Disney stops doing premier access on Disney+. I love paying $30 and being able to watch a new movie at my pace. one of us needs to use the bathroom? Pause. Baby is fussy? Pause. I want to watch the movie again after we watch it? Just hit play again. Plus I can watch it in my pajamas and not have to worry about what I look like and we get to eat whatever we like without paying a huge markup. Nevermind the fact $30 is cheaper than what I would have paid getting tickets for everyone in my family.

The last time we were at the theatre was November 2019. We still have free tickets and a gift card. I don’t think we will be back with theatre at home options. Theatre at home is way cheaper and we don’t have to worry about others disrupting the movie experience.

Movies on the big screen are my favorite! I went to The Alamo last Saturday for the first time in over a year. Oh how I'd missed it! They make it so no one can buy tickets right next to you, either side. There were only 6 people in the theater and we were way spread out. I like that staff brings you your snacks and drinks. I ate a little popcorn and put my mask back on. Not sure I'll hit up Regal just yet.
