Refurbishment of OKW

We're staying at OKW by Turtle Krawl. This morning they started gutting building 30. We looked in the building, as of 6:00 PM, they had no furniture, floors, appliances or countertops. (cabinets are still there) Will try to get and post pictures later.

Any idea which buildings if any have been DONE? If so which ones? I am going mid May and it would be nice to have a refurbished room.

Hope you can get some pictures, and let us know if any other buildings are being done. OKW is our home resort. We will be there Feb. 2011.

Anxious to hear as well. I heard somewhere that they started with the villas close to the HH. Don't know if that's the case or not.

YEAH!!! That means they are getting started a little ahead of when the manage I spoke to in March thought!!! When they did the exterior renovations, they started with building 30, so perhaps that is how they are doing the interior renovations as well!

I can't wait to see the final product, but I must say, I'm disappointed that they are keeping those rickety old cabinets.

Hope they have are favorite buildings completed for our Nov 27 - Dec 4 trip. Although We've never really had issues that could not be taken care of, it would be nice to stay in a refurbed unit, might actually make get the feeling of when we first started owning in 1995.

Howdy neighbor! We're down in building 40-where are you? Quite the thunderstorm last night! It also looks to me like they're working on #32 and #33.
