Refurbished rooms at SSR

Have all of the buildings rooms been refurbished? If not are the scheduled to be by April '14? We are thinking of requesting the Grandstand, so that is the one building I guess I am questioning the most. Thanks!

I was forced to stay in SSR last Dec.....decided to go too late to get in at my home resort, so stayed in SSR. Same thing happened this year as well...and will be at SSR in early Dec again.
I am going to look at a different area this time. I was in the Grandstand section last time. And it was very convenient...first bus stop, fairly short walk to the main bldgs. BUT..my studio was in awful shape. The grids on the slider were broken and sticking out..prevented easy opening and closing of the door!! The furniture was badly dinged up!!! There were many little things, that taken singly, wouldn't have been an issue. But all in one room? Hard to take.
So, obviously, as of last Dec, Grandstand hadn't been refurbed yet. That may be changing now though. Don't know.

We are not being "forced" to stay there. It was actually our first choice of where we wanted our home resort to be. I was just curious if the Grandstand was refurbished. I thought I read late spring/early summer but didn't know if that was true.

We just got back from SSR today! Our first visit to this resort and it was lovely! We were in the Springs, room 3812 (4th floor studio). The location was AWESOME...so close to the pool and Artist's palette. Our room was renovated and in great condition.

Don't get me wrong...when I say 'forced' it is only because by the time I booked, nothing else was open..anywhere. The whole 'you snooze, you lose' mentality was working for me. I'm actually looking forward to my next stay there in Dec. Now that I know the lay of the land, I'm looking forward to it. It's a beautiful resort. I just wish my first studio there had been in better condition.
