refurbished OKW photos?

Does anyone have pics of the refurbished OKW rooms? I believe they started construction last year but I don't believe that allears.net has updated their site to reflect the changes as of yet. Please correct me if I am wrong on this as I'm certain many of you are up to speed on this subject. Just curious and I haven't been able to locate any pics from the rooms in the new booking category which I believe were the first to be rehabbed? (Hospitality House category) TIA!

IIRC, and don't hold me to this but i believe that only the outside refurb in completed. They haven't started the interior refub yet. they are still working out their plans from my understanding from some OKW owners who have been down recently.HOpefully some who is more in the know will come along and give more accurate info.

Thanks for the response. I appreciate the information. I was under the impression that they had started with inside rehab but since I had not seen any pictures circulating, your theory makes perfect sense

DVC rehab goes on continuosly.Some part of the resort is always being done.The decor does not change so pictures will not show a difference in style.

This is Not true...the Boadwalks Villas were just redone and are beautiful....see them at allears....The OKW room refurb us starting soon..Tv's etc... will be updated well have to see in a few more months how the final room will change a quote from dvc news follows

"The refurbishment project at Disney's Old Key West Resort has begun with the recent gutting of Building 30. All resort villas are being completely renovated with new paint and carpet, upholstery, granite countertops and more. The project will take the better part of a year with completion scheduled for the spring of 2011."

-renovated and refurbished are 2 totally different things.Refurbishing goes on all the time , a complete reno. is about to start.

Can anyone expand on this? We are currently booked at BLT for a trip in late July, and we thought of moving over to OKW to extend the trip and save a bunch of points. What are they planning on doing at OKW?
