refurbed cheyenne rooms?

Evening all,

I've seen a lot of reviews and TRs from recent stays at the Cheyenne that seem to include a new TV and a kettle - as we are travelling with my Mum this time a kettle is a must! So I was wondering are these in all of the rooms now or just certain ones? Has anyone returned from the Cheyenne recently and not had a kettle?

We had a rufurbed room in October with new TV and room safe, but no kettle, but I hired 1 with a 25 euros deposit.
Coincidently when we were there in 2009, we did have a kettle which was obviously meant to be there as the base was secured to the cabinet.

No kettle, but they can be hired. I took my coffee to room from Redwood bar which was lovely

When we stayed there in April we had a kettle that the base was attached to the counter.

they were doing refurbs on every other room in doc holliday block this week while we were there. ours had flat screen tv, digital safe but no kettle, did have one stuck down on previous visit in 2009. took our own this time just in case, glad we did now. it was £6.50 from argos.
