Refunding my trip

Hi all, first post here. My boyfriend and I recently booked a trip with little pre planning to take advantage of the free dining plan. I used my disney visa because I figured if get a decent amount back and 6 months no interest. However I recently got approved for the chase sapphire card and would love to use that card instead. Has anyone ever successfully had their trip refunded so they can use another form of payment? I will eventually call disney I was just hoping there was someone else who has done this before! Thanks

Did you put only the inital $200 on the Disney Visa? If this is the case, I'd leave it that way and then pay for the rest of your trip using the new Sapphire card.

If you put the whole trip expense on the Disney Visa. You could just cancel. Then you'd have to hope that the same trip was still available to put on your Sapphire. I don't know that they can just refund one card and charge the other using the same reservation.

The easiest thing to do is book a new trip with the card you want to use, then call and cancel the original reservation and have it refunded back to whatever card it was on.

I have never had any success getting them to refund one card in order to charge to another.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking is probably going to need to do. Thank you for your help!
