Refund from DCL

I know recently this was posted, but...

How long does it normally take for a refund of your deposit amount from DCL?

Usually 2 - 3 weeks.

7 to 10 business days, 1 to 2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.

It took a little over a week to get my deposit back (credited back to my charge card) . However, I was told that I might have to wait two billing cycles! Luckily I got it back sooner.

It took almost 8 weeks for our deposit to go back on our credit card.

Oh my. I really was wanting it back within a month's time. I booked another cruise and would like the $800 back to apply to my $1000 deposit.

They say one to two billing cycles it will appear on your statement. However, that doesn't mean the money is not back in your account. For example, if your statement prints on the 8th and the credit is done on the 9th, then it will not appear until your next billing statement. Hence the phrase two billing cycles.

Like Regina said, it should be on your account within 7-10 business days, if not, give them a call. But if you are just looking at a billing statement that comes in the mail, you may wish to check with your credit card company to see if it will be coming in the next statement.

DCL didn't give me a $200 shipboard credit onboard like they were supposed to on my last cruise. I only found out the morning of debarkation. Guest Services could not help me and told me to call DCL later.

I called DCL on the bus to WDW that morning. Gal answering was puzzled why I didn't get the credit as it was clearly shown on my reservation. She said she would process the credit ASAP. It showed on my CC account the next day when checking online.

So, it can be quick at times it does seem.

I check my Disney Visa statement several times a week. From what you guys are telling me I think I will be fine then. Since I always pay the thing off each month I did not want a huge credit one month. Would rather have the moneies go toward my other deposit.
