Refrigerators in Studios?

At VGC now and it has a fridge.....keeps very cold, but is a lot smaller than they used to be.

And the cups are Styrofoam.... Not to be microwaved.....not so goid for a tea drinker, like me. Luckily I brought a Tervis tumbler and have been using that. Mug will come next time!!

At WDW you can call Housekeeping to request "real" mugs - hopefully it's the same at VGC!

I just use my Travis....at WDW I always bring my own mug.
They also aren't picking up the garbage every day. We were told to just leave the bag outside the door.

This is our first trip back to DLR since it reopened.

I was in a studio at VGC last weekend and had styofoam as well. Isn't that the case in most studios now? They only give you proper utensils and dinnerware with a full kitchen? I had thought it was an assumption that, with only a microwave, you'd likely be bringing most of your food in from restaurants or quick serves and would get plates (if even needed) and utensils from the food location. Even re-heating in a microwave didn't really warrant full silverware, service utensils, and proper dinnerware. Just my assumption.

My complaint was Styrofoam instead of the heavy paper ones that can go in a microwave for heating water.
I bring my own silverware, plates and bowls when in a studio.
We eat breakfast and a lot of dinners in our room with food we bring with us

We did get a nice little gift from DVC.

The drawstring bag with the Disney Cruise Line box inside?

Drawstring, couple pins, drawn post cards and a strange ape mini statue

Deck 4??

We did get the lanyards and DVD pins too.....have so many of those

Yeah the box and the lanyards and the certificate offer appear to be DCL SWAG they weren’t using while the cruise line was beached and somebody figured they could unload them in the gift bags.

Unfortunately no Deck 4 at the GC.

Okay....thought we were talking studios at resorts.
We got that his years ago on our cruise. I think 2 of them. Gave one to a friend

I wish the refrigerator at least fit the space that is there. So much smaller now.

It was you got paper plates, bowls, plastic flatware ,perhaps a few plastic cups (like for juice/soda) and 4 real glass/ceramic mugs.

Yeah, it seemed weird to be getting cruise line SWAG at VGC, but I guess they’ve got to get rid of all the extra stuff somehow. The redemption coupon just made me laugh.

The studio I was in last week still had a “full sized” mini fridge that took up the whole space under the counter.

Much smaller than that.

DH says 8 " from the top and 3" on each side

That is very small. When we bought BCV in 2003, the refrigerator filled up almost the entire space under the counter, had a freezer compartment and held quite a lot. Last year ours was a lot smaller, but not as small as this one. The racks in the door were all broken out, so our storage space was reduced.
