A few years ago when we stayed at ***, we requested a refrigerator for my grand-daughter's formula. We were not charged for the refrigerator since it was for the formula. Does DW still do this? When we stay at *** in April, my youngest grand-daughter will be 4 months old. If the refrigerators are still free, then we will get one. Otherwise, at $10.00 a night we will work out another solution. Thanks for any info.

I think you can get a very small medicine size fridge for free. I don't think it will hold but maybe one small can of formula. If you want anything bigger it is 10.00 a night.

You will be charged the 10.00 plus tax if you want the fridge. For many years the resorts would provide a fridge free of charge for medical reasons and often for infants but unfortunately due to abuse they have stopped.

They have a few very small (shoebox size) medicine fridges but they are first come first serve so they don't guarantee one.

You can grab a styrafoam cooler at the grocery or if the baby will take it just use the powder formula and mix as needed.

We have a travel frige that plugs both into the car and into a regular wall outlet -- we brought it with us several times to Disney when my ds was a baby and it worked out great! It only cost around $20 and I think they sell them at Wal-mart (not positive as ours was a gift but I know they only cost around $20). In any case, may be worth looking into as it would be much less expensive then paying $70 to rent one from Disney for a week at $10 per night and if you bought your own to bring with you'd have it for future trips;) We plan on using it again when we go now that I have a 4mos old ddprincess:

another solution is baby's best friend (i think that is what they are called?) they rent cribs, strollers, etc and deliver them to your resort. They just added fridges and microwaves too. I think it is $35 for the week, much cheaper than Disney's $10 a night

When we had an infant with us we bought the nursette bottles of ready made formula(like the ones they give you in the hospital) before we left home. They are a little more pricey, but well worth the convenience on vacation. There was no measuring, mixing, keeping cold, warming up, washing bottels, etc.. involed. Just pop a top on and its ready to go.

We were just there in December and stayed at AKL and WL and got a free fridge both places for my wifes pumped breast milk. I told them on my ressies I needed it and at check in and had no problems getting them. They never even questioned me about it and my wofe and baby weren't even with me so they trusted me. The fridges were a little bigger than a crate and could easily have held 2 six packs as it held many of our bottles.

Do you know how to contact them? I'd love to rent a fridge, but not at $10 a night!
