Refrigerator on DREAM?

Yes, the Dream has real refrigerators on them....not cooling boxes so insulin should be fine. Of course just double check that it is working property when you get to your cabin.

Yes I have been on the DREAM (twice as a matter of fact). At the time a fridge wasn't top priority now I am going again (b2b) with a friend who is diabetic and needs to bring insulin. I needed to know for her. Thought I knew most of the stuff but nope thank goodness for these boards!!.

Can't believe it will be a week tomorrow that we finished our 4 days on the beautiful ship....DW says to put the insulin in the door of the refrigerator, she originally put her insulin on the top shelf of the fridge and it got alittle too cold up there.

I got an odd reply for you on this one.
When I had to give insulin to my cat the vet told me to not keep it in the refrig door. She stated that the insulin can be affected by shaking it.

I know it has already been said, but its worth saying again. Make sure your fridge is working properly. I use Enbrel - which also requires refrigeration. When we first got to our room, the fridge did not feel very cold. The back panel of the fridge was pushed out on one side. Once my hubby fixed that, the fridge seemed to work OK. I will bring a thermometer in the future - just for my own piece of mind - to ensure that my meds are stored at the right temp.
