Refrigerated Medicine

Hi! I am hoping this would be a good place to post this question. My DD has just been placed on a new drug that is (1) liquid, (2) requires refrigeration, and (3) needs to be given to her 3x a day. We are going to WDW in May which was 90+ plus degrees last year. I bought a small cooler; however, I can't imagine that the med will stay cold in the cooler for 12 hours. Does anyone know if the parks have a special place that I can store the med until she has to take it? I recall that MK has a nice facility (possibly sponsored by Gerber) close to Main Street. Does anyone know if I could store it there? What about the other parks? Anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you!

I believe you can store meds at the First aid station at any park if you ask really nicely! :)

You can store and administer meds at the First Aid station in any of the parks. You can also request a refrigerator, usually for a fee, or request that the Guest Services at the resort refrigerate the medication for you.

I'm confirming the other poster's information.
We have never stored any medication at First Aid, but we have been there when people were either dropping off medication to store or coming to get a dose. The First Aid CMs are nice and friendly.

Thank you so much! I will utilize the first aid stations. We will have a frig in our room so we are covered for the time not at the parks. Thanks again for your help!

We have lots of meds to bring to WDW next week too. Only found out today that we need one new one refrigerated. The Pharmasist told us that ice will due until we get to a fridge at the resort. GOOD LUCK! Sandra

For your trip down, use one of those gel ice pacs that you can freeze and put it inside an insulated pac. They stay cold much longer than regular ice and you don't have water to deal with, just a little condensation. Wrap your bottle in paper towels or something to insulate it a little so it doesn't get too cold. My MIL has done this to bring stuff down to Florida and even after an 8 hour period (total time of travel), her ice pac is still mostly frozen.
