Hi,
I am traveling to Disneyworld Sept 11-19, and I have twins, I have to have a refrigerator in the room because my girls still drink milk, and it would save me money as i would not have to buy milk , juice etc everytime i needed it, i could just keep it in the fridge and buy it from the grocery store. I am trying to get into a fridge swap nobody has the dates i need is that possible? I have never done a fridge swap so i do not know really how it works, but how do i get in for the dates i am looking for . All the swaps are taken the week i am going. Any help would be appreciated.

if they are all full then they are all full. :confused3 I'm quite sure those dates were booked up a long time ago as that is free dining time. You can bring your own fridge if you are driving or just rent one from Disney. If you are staying anywhere other than a value there will be a fridge in the room already.

OP--The issue is your going during Free Dining and pretty much since Free Dining was announced all the fridge swaps filled up. It happens every year with the fridge swaps during FD. My suggestion is to rent a fridge from the POP. Just because you are in on a fridge swap doesn't mean that fridge will be there when you get there. Fridges go missing alot especially at the POP.

unfortunately, if there are no spots open, you are forced to either rent one from disney, bring your own, or upgrade to a moderate that comes with a fridge. No more swaps are allowed to be started.
Keep watching the swaps, maybe someone will cancel-you never know.

Solutions: upgrade resorts; rent one from the resort; buy a cube fridge and fly Southwest, keeping their luggage size restrictions in mind; order one online and arrange to have it shipped to coincide with your arrival; rent a car and buy one when you arrive; see the Good Housekeeping website and search for coolers - they did a review last month of the ones that keep food cold longest, and a Rubbermaid large cooler came out on top, so you could buy one at home and use it as checked luggage or order it online so shipment coincides with your arrival or rent a car and (try to) buy one when you arrive.

If driving, take any cooler along.

If you are flying, you could pack a collapsible cooler.

Then get ice from the machine @ the resort to keep the milk cold.

Great Ideas, Thanks to everyone for your help.
