Can you use AAA room discount (if avail) and buy the DDP also?

I know you cannot take a discount and have FREE dining, but I'm wondering how it works if you are paying for dining. Trying to give a friend accurate info.

You can get an AAA discount and DDP but you must than use an AAA TA

Oh, I think I forgot about having to use a AAA TA, thanks so much
