Refresh my memory on dedicated 2 bdrms

I know dedicated rooms can be booked at OKW. Thye have them at BCV but are they guaranteed? VWL and BWV do not have any dedicated 2 bedrooms, correct? What about SSR? Thanks!

SSR has 20 dedicated Two Bedrooms per building--each with two queen beds in the second bedroom. The dedicated / lockoff distinction is made at the time of booking (although it will probably not appear on your printed confirmation from DVC) and it is considered a guarantee.

I'm afraid CVW is mistaken. There are in fact a bazillion and three on the second floor.

1) BCV not only gaurantees them, but there are 2 dedicated categories when you make your reservation, 2 Bedroom dedicated with 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom and 2 Bedroom Dedicated with a queen bed and pull out couch in the 2nd bedroom

2) I beleive VWL has 2 bedroom dedicateds.

I would like to add that VWL has both dedicated, and lockoff 2br villas.

VWL has dedicated 2BRs. We had two of them booked this summer. In case you ever want an in depth look at VWL, InstImpress (I think is her name) has a spread sheet with all of the VWL locations and type of rooms that they are. She may even have those for all of the resorts. I have found that very useful in answering questions about VWL. HTH

Wow! Thanks for all the speedy responses. CVW, you were on the ball. Unfortunately, I was the one that wasn't thinking when I typed this. I should have said that I want a dedicated with two beds in the 2nd bedroom. I left that little detail out. I know it is possible at OKW and BCV. What about the rest of the resorts? Thanks!

The are rooms with 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom at BCV. There aren't many, and they go quickly. If you don't ask, they'll assign you a queen + a sleeper sofa.

By the way, I think the above data about BCV may be incorrect. I specifically remember counting a bazillion dedicated 2BR's last week at BCV. (Give or take 3. I think Par8hed may have double-counted rooms 26543479845 and 26543479846. They're in this confusing hallway on the 823rd floor, where it's easy to count each room twice.)

Not sure about the other resorts......but at BCV it is my understanding that it has to due with space, some of the second bedrooms aren't big enough to have two beds, hence the sofa-sleepers.

Some have sofa-sleepers. Others have sleeper-sofas. Make sure you specify when you make your reservation.

Seems like I remember there being a problem when they built BCV. The models all had two queens in the 2BR, but when it was built, there was one and a sofa bed. Soon after opening they reordered the correct bedding; however some rooms couldn't be accomodated with the two beds due to size or something - so only a certain number could be sold with 2 beds in the second bedroom.
