I believe that's correct, but your reservation should say whether you can do that. I just pulled up my email confirmation for an upcoming rental and it says: "Pickup Information: Aisle & Executive Service".

Elsewhere in the confirmation: "Emerald Club Members: Proceed to the Emerald Club area."

You go to the row called "Emerald Aisle", you can take whatever is in that row.

You don't go to the counter, you checkout at the booth on the way out.

Keep in mind that there are two aisles so make sure you choose from the correct one. One side will say Emerald Aisle while the other one will say Executive Aisle (silver sign). During a recent trip we had to back up so the person in front of us could return their car because they choose from the wrong aisle. (There's also an Elite Aisle, but I'm unfamiliar with that as we are only Executive Aisle members and can choose from either aisle.)
