I agree! :rotfl:

Hannah, if you don't mind me asking where are you from? Just because you said "pop" instead of soda. I say pop, DF says soda. lol All a matter of where you are.

Myst

I say "pop" too and now that I live in Virginia, it's "soda!" (that's how everyone corrects me  I moved from Oregon to the East Coast.)

We say sody!!! Born in TN, raised in IL., don't know which the sody came from! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

:earsgirl: shopgirl

Okay, I may get flamed into eternity, here, but I haven't seen this elswhere yet, so I'll venture to ask here: Is it possible to fill your refillable mug with either water or unsweetened ice tea? I'm diabetic, and have foresworn the drinking of any pop ever again (and, yes, I'm from Middletown, Ohio, just between Cincinnati and Dayton...God help me! ), so if my only choices were pop or coffee, I just won't buy a mug.

Thanks, again, guys!

Another soda drinker here- boy do I feel out numbered! I never even heard of "pop" till I was a teen and had a penpal from Michigan who clued me in :rotfl: .

POP!

Chicago, in the city, but grew up on the North Shore (in the north suburbs!)

Still, I admit when people look at me puzzled, :confused3

I say "soda"

Or better yet, for me it is always diet Coke!!! :earboy2:

Oh, to the ice tea/water drinker, this is what I found:

Most of the WDW Resorts have a "Refillable Mug" program in their food court area (aka Fast Food-Counter Service). You purchase a mug for around $11.99 and are entitled to "free" or less expensive refills for the duration of your stay. The refills are available from the beverage dispensers and usually include: coffee, sodas, ice tea, and hot chocolate. No other purchase is required to get your mug or your refills.

I recall getting ice tea before.

Here is the link that I found that from:

Soda. NJ...

What kind of soda do they have. I drink Diet Pepsi. Most only have Diet Coke.
Do they have diet pop?

My DW is from Ohio and she used to call it POP. I'm from Atlanta and EVERY soft drink is called "Coke". We live in Atlanta and even she has started calling every drink "Coke" :rotfl:

well in Texas we call it coke...... "want a coke"....."yeah".......Coke, Dr Pepper or what" doesn't matter what brand if it's carbonated it's coke!

I kinda wish the mug police and the pool hoping police whould show up, I'm a little ticked off about my ME tags and could use some laughs! But I would not be living up to my promise to the Tag Fairy! (See tag) :rolleyes1

My mom is from Ohio, and she USED to say 'pop'. Now, however, she is in the deep south. Just like in Atlanta, everyone here calls it COKE. Doesn't matter what flavor.

We are also just coke people down here... no Pepsi. 13 years ago a hurricane named Andrew came to town. When getting emergency rations, I went to the grocery store to get bread, drinks, batteries, etc... In the soft drink aisle there was not one Coca-Cola to be found, but the Pepsi products were full to the brim! LOL :earboy2:

I just imagined going to a refill station at Disneyland here in Cali and asking if they have "diet pop". I wonder if anyone would know what that meant! I'm going to Disneyland next week, I'll have to try it :earboy2:

Chocolatelover, WDW carries Coke product, so yes they have diet coke, also my drink of choice. They also have unsweetened tea. I'm diabetic so I know those two are there.

People that originate from Washington State call sodas "Pop" . Not to point fingers at my friends in Washington or anything ;) I've had people look at me like an alien when I asked for a "pop" and remembering to say "soda" is driving me crazy  With the word soda, I keep on expect someone to show up with the bourbon to mix with it.

I don't know if this answers OP's question or not, but I do know my kids were able to purchase refill mugs at the Waterparks. That is at least one area (theme park area) where you could buy a refillable mug.

Central Texas - "Ya'll want a coke?" "Sure" " What kinda coke do ya want? I've got Dr. Pepper, Sprite, and Diet Pepsi". "I'll have a Dr. Pepper"

No kidding - That's how it goes every time. If it bubbles it's "coke". I've never even thought twice about it before, but... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: it sure must sound silly to anyone who didn't grow up with it...

A fellow Michigander here and it will always be POP. We even have Faygo Red Pop (although below that it says a strawberry flaverod soda).

:flower: born and raised southwest side of Chicago.
. It's always been "pop" for us. Last time we were at DW we were on the bus and my kids were asking for a pop, one family from out east said "you must be from the midwest" They explained to my kids they call it soda and my kids thought it was a very funny name for "pop". Also when we go to DL in California their cousins giver them a hard time about calling it "pop". But we just keep telling them "pop" is right "soda" is wrong!! it's a big family debate!!!I actually had a CM look real funny at me when I ordered a "pop" and she even asked me what is a "pop"???

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I guess I did start something, but at least it's POSITIVE and not HEATED!!!!!!!!!

SODA.... miami, fl

they do have water, lemonade, HI-C juice(which i know that these are high in sugar for a diabetic) and nestea unsweetened ice tea. they also have tea bags there if you feel like making your own. i did this a few times. brew the tea with the hot water and then add tons of ice to cool it down to ice tea. i brought some tea bags to the room and made it in a larger container, just so that i could keep the ice tea that i made in the fridge that comes in your room.

good luck!
