Refillable Resort Mug Information???

I have been telling my mom about the progress Disney is making towards the new "refillable mug" system. She wants some up to date information before we go to Disney in late June. She wants to know if she can bring a mug from a previous trip, or will we have to purchase new mugs. We are staying at the Contemporary (Bay Lake Tower), does the Contemporary have updated soda dispensers where you have to purchase the new mug? Basically we don't want to bring previous mugs, and then they don't work and it's a waste of space there and back. Any info would be greatly appreciated?
