Refillable Popcorn Bucket

We'll be going to WDW next week and I vaguely saw something about refillable popcorn bucket. Can anyone tell me more about it? Where can you get them (I'm assuming each main park, anywhere specific, what about Disney Springs?) Is it just refillable for that day or can you use it for the length of your stay? When you go to refill it, can you go anywhere or only specific stands? Do you need to show your receipt or just the bucket? Also, how much does it cost?

When we were there in July we saw them...I would not buy one though. They seem very small...and the price seems very large. I understand you can refill it but who wants to stand in a popcorn line every 10 minutes to refill it. And I do believe it is only for the day of purchase...

I hope ROL will be ready to go and replace Jungle Book after Labor Day! we will be there the week after Labor Day.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I honestly don't think ROL will be coming this fall....or by Christmas!! But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I had no clue the bucket was refillable! I spent that much money last year and we could've refilled it???? Now I feel stupid

The normal popcorn buckets are not refillable. This year they had (maybe still have?) a small bucket that is refillable for $1.50. The expensive artistic popcorn containers are not refillable.

Just want to update everyone that I am here now and they still have the $10 bucket with $1.50 refills. I bought one at Epcot. Wish I had waited because I like the one from Typhoon Lagoon way better. I was surprised it was even available at the water parks. No idea when program will be ending.

We returned Sun. from a weeks trip and bought our refillable popcorn bucket at Disney Springs. I was kinda bummed because it was an exact bucket of one I already have (same size etc.) My sister bought one the next day at AK and hers was different and shorter, but we were both able to refill the buckets every day with no issues at any park. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to refill after the 1st, since that's when it was supposed to end, but we did multiple times. For us, I'm not even sure being able to refill throughout the length of our trip really saved us any money. We ended up refilling it probably 4 times, but it was nice to try out.

There's also no doubt in my mind that we could have refilled ANY popcorn bucket. Like I said, the one we got from Disney Springs was a regular bucket (one we actually already have) and I asked a few different times when I bought it. I'm not sure if they just ran out, but either way I was never asked about it the different times I refilled it at different parks.
