Refillable Mugs

I saw somewhere that the refillable mugs are free at your hotel and only 89¢ at others.
Has anyone else heard about this?

The refillable mugs are about $12, and refills are free, at the resort you've purchased the mug, for the duration of your vacation.

Having bought a resort refillable cup just last month, I can tell you absolutely that they cost $11.99. It can only be refilled at the resort where you purchased, not in parks either.

Despite the ongoing refillable mug debates that flood the DIS boards, they are an absolute must if you drink alot of coffee/tea/soda. It hurts to plunk down that 12 bucks in the beginning, but by day 2, you're thanking yourself for doing it.

I know that you used to be able to fill other resort mugs at the Boardwalk Bakey for $.89, don't know if that's still true

The BoardWalk's refillable mug program used to not include free refills -- refills were $0.89 for everyone, including folks who bought BoardWalk refillable mugs. That must have changed at least two or three years ago, if not more. Now, the BoardWalk is just like all the other resorts, AFAIK.
