Refillable Mugs?

Wait!! How did I miss this? You can buy refillable mugs in the parks? Where? how much and where do you get them refilled?

I did a search but it only brought up Disney.

Prices range from $5 to $12 incl tax refills are $1.35 approx for duration that includes next day etc even next year

They can be used anywhere at Universal and IoA and Citywalk and even Wet and Wild and Seaworld. The only place they can't be used is some of the restaurants in City walk like Emerils.

They are good for as long as your cup lasts. I have one that is 2 years old that I use several times a week. Mine is MIB cup that cost $4.95 and that included the first drink free. After that, refills are around $1.25 plus tax.

I got a spongebob that was only $4.95 down by MIB. Plan on bringing it back next summer.

only non-carbonated drink I've ever seen is water, and that's always a complimentary refill. (besides icees, they are at an additional charge) the mugs can even be used at BG. love the blue spongebob cup, we've got 6 of them. and they're not really mugs in the disney sense, they're the taller cups with the scew-on lid and flexible straw. if I knew how to attach a pic, I'd show you a variety of them we have.

i have a question for all of you that have used the refillable mugs.

i bought the dueling dragons ice mug four years ago. i have been back 5 times since i bought it.

are you saying if i bring that 4 year old mug back with me on my 2005 trip, it is still considered a "refillable mug" ?

i don't think they make the same mug i bought, wouldn't i be questioned?

The MIB cup I have is not the same one that is sold now. They still take it.

I just got back from a quick trip this morning and I got a MIB cup for $5.32 (total w/tax). Wish I'd have waited though, the sponge Bob one was cuter (in Amityville at Dippin Dots). Also FYI at IOA I asked about one by the Cat in the Hat and it was $8.35 but with that one, all refills in Seuss Landing were free and then the rest of the parks were the $1.25 + tax.

We purchased the $7.99 cups at Seuss Landing and did get many free refills in Seuss Landing. Refills were $1.35 everywhere else including anywhere in USF. The refillable popcorn buckets are a decent deal too if like eating popcorn in the parks.
