refillable mugs

Could not use the search, so I was wondering how the refillable mugs worked. Do you only get to refill at your resort, or can you use it in the parks too?

You may be opening up a can of worms with your question. There has been a lot of posts in the past on this subject.

Now I'll try to answer your question. The mugs are purchased at the resort or water park where your staying and are only refilled there. You will see a lot of people with a different resort mugs getting refills, but that is not the way it is suppose to work nor is it the way Disney intended.

The "official" policy is: unlimited refills for the length of stay in which you purchased the mug at the resort you purchased it at...

many people use the mugs on return trips and many people also use whatever cups they happen to have....I have never seen anyone catch any static at all no matter what they've decided to fill, so , go figure...

To my knowledge, the mugs are NOT refillable in the parks, only at the resort in which you purchased it..

I have even seen teens using ketchup cups...over and over again and no one said or did a thing.
Go figure

Can the mugs be refilled with anything? i.e. coffee in the morning and soda in the afternoon.
