Refillable Mugs

Yes, and I believe it is $35 for 7 night, $20 for 4 night, and $15 for 3 night (basically $5 a day). For us, it is definte necessity! LOL

I think it's $35 for a sticker for the 7 night cruise and an extra $5 for an actual mug.

sssooo, total cost would be $40. right?

From what I understand, you don't have to purchase the mug.

On our 7 day Western the "soda package" was $35.00 and this got you a sticker on your key to the world card. This entitled you to free soda at any location on the ship. If you wanted the mug it was an extra $3.00.

It was easier without the mug - did not want to lug it all around!

We were on the 3 day cruise in Feb. & bought just one soda sticker for 15.00. We bought a mug for a souvenir ( just a couple of dollars),but nobody uses them like @ the resorts for refills. I just let the kids use my card with the sticker if they wanted a soda, but we didn't use it very often.. Soda is free @ the restaurants for dinner. You can ask for a soda before leaving your dinner seating if you want to bring one back to the room with you. Cathie

Can you buy the mug without the sticker? On my 7-day last year I bought a mug in the gift shop. But it just had Disney Cruise Line on it and I want a mug with the name of the ship.

Is the free soda at dinner new? We took a Disney cruise 4 years ago and I don't remember that. Our cruise is 4 days, 4 kids. Is it worth it to buy the card and does anyone know the cost for the 4 day?

If I remember correctly, soda has always been included on DCL at any of the dining rooms meals, B, L, D since the beginning. We were on the official Maiden Voyage and 7 cruises since, and this has always been the case.

Yes you can buy the mug without a sticker but you can't get refills without a sticker (or a star as they put on our card). The mugs are available in various locations, we got ours by the elevators. The cost for a sticker would be 20.00 for a 4 day (they charge 5.00 a day). Our mug does say the name of the ship..we were on the Wonder. Just remember if you do purchase a sticker for soda that it's not like @ the resorts whre you just go up to a soda station & get your own soda. (you can do that with milk, iced tea, coffee & fruit punch which are free on Deck 9). you need to go to one of the areas that have soda available, like the pool snack stands that have pizza, ice cream, burgers, etc. or in one of the clubs. If you drink a lot of soda the sticker is worth it. We figured that soda at dinner is enough so we probably won't buy one on our next cruise...you can also bring your own soda on board if you like. Why they don't include soda as something that is provided I can't figure out because we sure do pay enough to include it...enjoy your cruise!!!! Cathie:bounce:

Does everyone in your party have to purchase a sticker or can just one person? I'm the only soda drinker in the family.

Not everyone in your family has to buy one....unless you all plan on drinking the soda (alot).

My husband bought the sticker (he drinks a lot of soda) and then if my sons or me wanted a drink we would drink from his....mind you we never drank enough to buy one ourselves. There was even times that I took his card and got the soda myself and they didn't say anything.
