refillable mugs?

Well I am not really sure where to post this but it is a beverage question...my mom heard that you can reuse your old refillable mugs, is this true? We stayed at POR a few years ago and still have our mugs, she wants to bring them but I am thinking that she is wrong about this. Does anyone know if this is true or do you have to buy the mugs everytime you go?

All Mugs are for the time of your stay at that resort. That being said.....the ones that we used this year were Million dreams one......every resort was the same.......new ones may be issued soon as that promotion is over...

Is there any difference in the 2007 vs the 2008 mugs other than the year on the mug? It's still Year of a Million Dreams, right?

The 2007 mugs are dated the 2008 ones are not. As for the OP question the mugs are good for the length of your stay. Since you went a few years back it will be the old POR design. I have read on other posts about CMs starting to really enforce this rule. SO if it was me I would buy a new one. not worth the embarressment when a Cm approaches you in my opinion. I travel to WDW 2 to 3 times a year and have always bought a new one each trip. And YES I am sure there are many who have done it and got away with it but it does not make it right.
