I am just wondering what they look like, how much they cost, and where can you refill them? only at your resort? if so... is it really worth it?:confused3

They are around $13. You can refill them at the resort you are staying at. Beverages cost $2-3 each otherwise. So if you have at least 5 beverages at your resort during your stay, it is more than worth it.

If you are purchasing the new Quick Service dining plan available in 2009, each person in your party gets his/her own resort mug.

*Just noticed your ticker...just ignore my advice!*

We get the mugs each trip. $50 for the four of us. :scared1: But I figure we get our money out of the mugs. We stay long enough to get many refills. I don't drink sodas but I ended up walking to Mara in AKL each morning to get coffee. Not great coffee but It was nice walking around the resort early in the morning when it was quiet and empty.

When we get home we have a nice reminder in the mugs. Use them all of the time.

Thanks guys.. I want one because it sounds neat to have... And i drink coffee EVERY morning...and I know I will especially need it at Disney... It just seems like it would be annoying to carry aroud the parks if you don't get free refills from there....

I heard that you can refill them at select spots at the parks now, anyone know?

Have no desire to carry those things around all day, but I have not heard of this option.

To the OP, the coffee at WDW is pretty bad.....do a search!

Definately worth it for us, we ate breakfast in the food court most mornings and ASMo offered hot chocolate, coffee alongside soda and cold drinks, also when we returned from the parks at night one of us would run down and fill them up (they have lids) for the kids, also used them beside the pool, whilst waiting on my laundry- definitely worth the $ we'd have spent otherwise. Now we're home they make great mugs for the kids to use in the garden or in their rooms.

dang :( I Love me some Joe :(

Give the coffee a try you might like it. I have bought many high end coffees over the years but I did not find the coffee at AKL to be undrinkable swill. I had brought my coffee, sugar, and creamer from home but it was not tasting the way it normally does. Likely a difference in the cheap coffee maker in the room and the water.

Don't give up on the WDW coffee until you try it. I have had much worse. :scared1: I did not find the WDW coffee to be that bad.

We myself, hubby, mum, dad and 2 dds (aged 4 and 7) stayed at Port Orleans, we bought the mugs and used them every morning, one of us did the early coffee run(it stayed hot for ages) and we used them again at breakfast, after a few attempts I managed to get the coffee just right. Really good for a cold drinks at the end of a long day.

I lost the lid one day on the way back to the room, when I popped back to the restaurant to see if it was handed in they replaced it immediatley.

I didn't want to carry them around the parks, and you can't use them at the water parks as they issue their own mugs with a bar code which activated the soda machine.

Well worth the money if your staying for a few days or more and enjoy an early morning drink.

Hoe this helps
