I have some questions about them....

1. how much are they

2. where at DLH can you get the refills?

3. what drinks can you get? can you get hot chocolate and coffee refills?

4. can you get them refilled anywhere in the park?

I read that you can get a refill cup for about $7.99 at the Grand Californian and get soda refills free at the hotels but not in the parks. And somewhere on Main Street you can get free refills on coffee. Not the fancy lattes or mochas but only on the plain black stuff. Gonna go check my sources. be right back

Any of the outdoor vending dont do refills mainly...

i know like some stores like coffee shops will give you free coffee... all you need is the original receipt that you bought the drink.

Refillable Mugs

The Grand Californian hotel sells refillable insulated mugs for $7.95 plus tax. Refills on coffee and soft drinks (milk and juice are NOT included) are free at the hotel's snack bar, Whitewater Snacks -- not in the theme parks.

It's easy to duck out of Disney's California Adventure through the private entrance into the Grand Californian, and Whitewater Snacks is just around the corner from that entrance. If you are staying for several days and you drink a lot of coffee and/or soft drinks, this can save you quite a bit of money.

You can purchase a refillable mug right out of the minibar in your room if you are a guest in the hotel. However, they will charge you extra minibar fees on it. It's cheaper to wait and buy one at Whitewater Snacks.

MouseSavers reader Lucy T reports that the refillable mugs from Grand Californian can be refilled at Paradise Pier Hotel. She said she was told that it can also be refilled at a location in Disneyland Hotel. Another reader, Tracy N, confirms that you can "refill the mug at all three Disney hotels' snack shops."

At Zoco (the Mexican food place by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad) they let us do one free refill. Also, you can ask for cups for ice for....free!

Anyone know how many ounces the refillable mugs hold? They look like maybe 12oz or so.

Has it changed since the end of June?? When we were at the DLH, we were told that the refillable mugs there were only good for coffee.
