Refillable Mugs and coffee????

are refillable mugs available in the parks??

Overall no. But a few years ago I heard they had a refillable mug at the water parks. Not sure if that is still the case.


As to the topic at hand. I have zero problem using the mug I purchase from one resort at another resort, or even on another trip, as long as the mug design is the same.

IMHO, once they cheapened up and standardized the mugs that was just an open invitation. Bring back the individual resort themed mugs, and I'll start buying them again.

When we got our coffee with our refillable mugs (staying at BWV- you go to Boardwalk Bakery for the refills at that hour), we would show the mug, but then they would put the coffee in a separate cup. They did that with all the beverages we bought saying that they couldn't fill each of our mugs for "sanitary reasons". While the two of us on the morning run didn't enjoy carrying 5 empty mugs plus 5 additional beverage cups, at least you won't give your refillable mugs the flavor of coffee. It will be clean for your resort-hopping refills.:.

And yes, the water parks do also offer a much-larger refillable mug, at least they still were last Sept.

We're doing a split stay in December and I am only buying a mug at resort 1 and will continue to use it at resort 2 for the rest of the week.

Water parks do have mugs good for the day you are there. They have bar codes on them to scan at the drink dispenser to activate it. You can buy bar code stickers at a discount so you can use the mug another day.

Does anyone know if hot chocolate is offered at resorts?

The WL has a hot chocolate dispensing machine for mug use. I don't know about the other resorts.

I LOVE THE COFFEE IN DISNEY. I know, some say it's not real coffee, but I love it. What it actually is, is a coffee syrup made by Nescafe. I just love the flavor. I love it so much, I buy Nescafe instant at home.

By the way, I do know good coffee, my wife perks her own which I do like also. I drink a lot of coffee, but at work I bring Nescafe and it reminds me of Disney.

I also like Dunkin Donuts, (don't like Starbucks though) and McDonalds makes a good cup.

Actually I've heard that a few times on here. I like it too, it is exactly the same taste every single time I've had it at 8am and 8pm. I remember before the dispensers and it was not consistent. I've gotten a few gut wrenchers back then.

I think it's just fun to mock the coffee, like "fruit cake".

My partner has tried the coffee, i have never,, i think this trip i will try it so i can give my opinion,, but to be honest i put so much milk and sugar in my cups i dought i will be nasty but can only try,,

Obviously your question has already been answered, just wanted to add that the refillable mugs save us a ton of money on our trips. Here's what we do to be even more frugal ... we only buy 2 for the 4 of us, one for my hubby and me and one for my girls. In the morning I am always up before anyone else, so I go down to the food court and fill "our mug" with black coffee and "their mug" with juice. I grab a few packets of sugar/sweetener, and then back at the room I divide the coffee into two cups (which I bring from home) and fix it with the sugar and milk (which I bought at the food court for a snack credit). I divide the juice into 2 cups for my girls, too. If you fill the mugs all the way, they really hold enough to make 2 cups of coffee or 2 cups of juice.
Okay mug police, I'm ready for ya!
