Hello: We're going down to the BCV couple of times over the next few months and have a couple of questions about refillable mugs. How much are they? What can you get in them? Where and at what times can you fill them? Can you use them for a second trip in the same year or another trip soon after the first? Thanks

They are $11.99 and can be refilled at Beaches and Cream and at Hurricane Hanna's, when those eateries are operating. Refills are only included for the duration of the vacation when you buy them.

They are only "good" for length of stay. ;)

You can refill them at Beach Club Marketplace, Beaches and Cream and Hurrican Hannah's. The Marketplace is open 7am until I think 11pm. B&C is 11am and again I think it closes at 11pm. Hurricane Hannah's hours vary I believe accroding to the hours of SAB and probably the season.

Coffee, tea, soda pop, lite lemonade, apple juice and I think hot chocolate are choices at the Marketplace. Not sure about the others. Marketplace is self serve, the other two you must wait for help unless that has changed recently.

Sorry, can't remember the price. :confused3 $10 to $12?

How long have they been refilling them at the Marketplace? Someone should let Deb Wills know...

Sorry, Bicker, didn't mean to step on your post! We must have been typing at the same time but you're faster!

But you're more detailed and more accurate!

Gee thanks.

But you know the price! :cool1:

We used mugs in December that were purchased on a previous BC trip in May without a problem.

This is a very controversial subject on the DIS. Disney policy is very clear, now, that that is not permitted. Disney relies on the integrity of its guests with regard to complying with the policy, so hopefully they won't have to adopt costly and disruptive enforcement measures, as they've had to do with respect to many services they offer, such as those mentioned in this thread:

Is there hot chocolate available at the BC marketplace? Thanks

When we were there in September, hot chocolate was available. Annmarie

When I bought one I played dumb and stated how can you police this. The reply was "we don't, we don't lose anything." And they can't. All the mugs are the same (for each resort) and there isn't a bar code attached like at the water parks.

I know one thing, I ain't going to worry what you do. I'm too busy vacationing. It's up to management to enforce. When they feel they are losing money they will.

Yes, I agree, it is pointless for individual guests to worry about whether Disney is making money. The only concern individual guests would haev with regard to what others do is with repsect to what the actions of others have on the deployment of onerous processes Disney eventually employs for enforcement, once the abuse gets to the point where they do decide they can no longer rely on the integrity of their guests.

Integrity is a personal matter. It's not just up to "them" to enact it. It's also up to you and me.

I'd actually say that integrity is a public matter, but a personal decision.

It's not just up to "them" to enact it. It's also up to you and me.
Very very true. Rather, "their" enforcement would be a reaction to too many people exhibiting inadequate personal integrity.

Integrity is something that comes from within, you can't force it on others. If you could, this world might be a different place. ;)
