I don't know what the big deal is!
My family of 7 all stay in one room at the All-Stars (it's okay, we bring air matresses) and save a ton of money by eating our crock-pot meals in the room. Our George Forman grill is nice to make hamburgers on when we get tired of stew from the crock pot. To drink, we of course take our refillable mugs for 5 trips ago to get all the pop we need. When not in the parks, we like to pool hop over to WL or the Poly, they have great slides, and we only take up 4 chairs for the 7 of us, so I'm sure we aren't bothering anyone.
For park admision, our two littlest are 4 and 3, but they are small for their age and look a lot alike so we say they are 2 year old twins so they get in for free. They only go on the kiddie rides and shows, so it's not like we should pay for them, since they can't go on Space Mountain yet. We also say it's their birthday if it isn't, they get buttons and all the CM's are so nice, and sometimes they get special things. The rest of our admisions we buy off of E-bay. When the tickets say "non-transferable" they don't really mean it!
Also, while in the parks, we find a great time saver is to have the one person in our part hold our spot in line, while the other seven go explore. Then we will just push our way up until we met with our place holder. We also have one person in our part hold about a 1/2 acre of real estate on Main Streat for all the parades. If we decide at the last minute to see a parade, we just move ourselves to the curb, the friendly people their don't seem to mind our kids standing in front of their own kids, even though they've been waiting for 45 minutes (more of that Disney magic!).
And all those strollers sure to look a like, so we just grab the first one we see in stroller parking. But we make sure it's empty, cuz stealing is wrong.
