refillable mug with back-to-back reservations

We have 2 reservations which are back to back (different resorts). We are planning to purchase refillable mugs during our first stay. Will our mugs be activated during our 2nd resort stay?

Yes, I believe they are active for a 14-day period. If your combined stay is longer, save your receipt and you should be able to get it re-activated.

Mugs are active for 14 days. We’ve done split stays often and had no trouble using the mugs at our next hotel.

You can reactivate the mug for the price of a new one. I don’t think they will just give you those extra days for free.

Yes, mug is good for split stays. This last time we purchased at SSR, then after a few days went to WL. Mugs worked seamlessly at both.

Curiously, it seems that for those with split stays and dining plan, they issue mugs at resort #1, and a new set of mugs at resort #2. As we were walking around hotel on check-in day, a very kind couple, seemingly with a large bag of new mugs, gave us a couple, explaining that they did the split stay with their family, that both hotels issued each family member mugs, that as a result, they had way too many mugs, and that they were leaving that day and needed to offload some of them.

They should. 14+ days at WDW requires dropping some serious cash.
Giving people $5 worth of soda is the least they can do.

I agree they should. They also shouldn’t charge for lightning lane. Yet, here we are.

They wouldn’t have capped it at 14 days if they were willing to extend it for free.
