Refillable Mug Tip

Keep your receipt. We bought 2 mugs, the evening we arrived. DH got us coffee the next morning. We went back that same evening for dinner and tried to use our mugs and it said they had expired. I guess there was some kind of glitch...who knows.

We went to a CM at the check out and she fixed it, but said "I really am suppose to ask for your receipt" like she didn't believe me. (which I did not have on me) I did have it in our room and after dinner, retrieved it and showed the same CM. She just laughed and said "oh, okay".

So from then, I kept the receipt in me wallet.

Receipts are good for sure. You could have been given those by another guest at the end of their stay or stole them. I don't blame Disney for asking.

This is a good tip! Usually, I remove the day's receipts from my park bag at night and put them into a pocket in my luggage. Will be sure to keep that one with me. Thanks!

Same goes for your tickets on your MagicBands. Anything that is set-up electronically can POOF at any time. Like Disney mugs and Disney tickets. For your tickets, take a photocopy or pic of the back side serial numbers. If tickets were purchased with resort reservation, have resort info photocopy or pic handy. It'll speed up the correction process.
