Refillable mug straws?

I managed to purchase an alien mug (would have preferred another shape) on our last day and used it for about 1/2 a day. The straw is already cracked but still usable. If I take this back to the parks and buy refills and the straw completely breaks, do they give you a new one? Unfortuantely you need a VERY long straw so just grabbing a disposable one won't work. For others looking at mugs, I'd recommend Spongebob over the Alien, all the ice gets stuck in the head of the alien.

For my next trip, may buy another one. Does anyone know if IOA has any normal shaped refillable mugs? I did some looking but it took me getting to the back part of US to find Spongebob and Alien which had a more reusable look than the giftshops (entire spongebob body mug). Thanks.

they'll give you a replacement straw without a problem. the refillable mugs with the handles are available at both US/IOA, and are less expensive than the full character ones. (and easier to carry)

The kinds that aren't the whole spongebob body type thing (that would be a pain to drink from and clean I'd think) were 5 something from the stands, they were selling blue bottle with spongebob stamp on it. I think the alien was 4.25 inside the men and black giftshop and you can get AP discount there. They give you a card to turn in at drink place to get free first fill. The card said refills would be 1.39 but I was charged 1.49 the one time I refilled and I think that is standard.

don't forget that you can use your AAA discount(10%) on refills as well! I think you can use that at the counterservice(inside) restaurants - not too sure about the carts.
