Refillable Mug Question

We purchased refillable mugs from WL back in 2001. We are going back next month and I wasn't sure if I could still use the mugs from that trip, or if the design has changed and I will need to purchase new mugs. I know I have read that you can bring your mugs back on future trips and use them, but I didn't know how or if the design made a difference.

I would take them with you and if you are told you can't refill them, then buy new ones, but 99% of the time you can refill them with no questions asked.

It is also possible to sneak a case of soda out of the grocery store if it is on the bottom of your cart, but I try not to do that either.
