Last December we took a family trip and bought 5 refillable mugs. The only ones that we got enough refills to cover the cost was mine and my ds8. My dh filled his 2x during the 9 days and each of my dds filled theirs once.

My dds (ages 26 and 7) will be going next week for my little one's 7th birthday. She is trying to get her budget together and trying to decide if she needs to buy the mugs. She will if the design has changed but we don't need 2 more of the same mugs when they probably won't be using them there anyway. Anyone know if the design has changed since last December or should they just pay for (or use snack credits) for their drinks if they want them at the resort?

We stayed at POR last year and they will be at the CBR this year but I believe all the resorts have the same mugs correct? And just to make this clear, they are NOT planning to take old mugs to use.

From my understanding they are still the same. You will have a frig in your room so you can always stop at a grocery store (if you are renting a car) on the way to CBR. You can have groceries delivered if you want. Or yes you can use snack credits for drinks.

If they are on the Quick Service Dining Plan the mugs are included with it, however as of right now the design on the mug has not changed.

We are going soon and have free TS dining...are the mugs included in that plan as well? If so, cool!

If you mean you have the DDP (1 snack, 1 CS, 1 TS credit), no the mug does not come with that plan.

It only comes with the CS plan and the Deluxe plan. Sorry.

I did buy one when we stayed at CBR (but only for me no my DH or DD) and the refill station is very close to the main pool so it worked out well for me. But I drink a lot of soda so it was worth it to me.

Good luck!

Thanks. They are on the DDP so the mugs are not included. I asked dd what she was planning and she said she would probably go ahead and buy new mugs since she is planning more time/meals at the resort than we've done in the past. Neither of them are big soda drinkers but my oldest does drink a lot of Powerade (she's on a high sodium diet) and if I'm remembering correctly that was in the machine at POR.
