How much does the refillable mug cost, and how does it work? Can you just refill it at your resort, or can you bring them to the parks and refill them at cs locations? Is it good for your whole stay?

Officially mugs are only good at your resort for the duration of your stay. There isn't any place to fill them up at the parks.
They are $12.99, I believe. They used to be.

I don't remember the cost and it might be different than ours; we get ours at the Coronado and they are the only resort with a different mug than everyone else. You are only supposed to refill them at your OWN resort and only for the length of your current stay. They cannot be used at the parks.

While they can't be refilled with drinks at CS locations in the parks, I've carried mine and refilled it with water from water fountains. Kept me hydrated, and it was a heck of a lot cheaper than buying drinks!

The mugs are about $12.95 and can be refilled at your resort for your length of stay. They have coke products, coffee, tea, and hotchocolate. If you are at Pop Century, they also have frozen cokes:yay: I was told that you can use the mugs at most of the resorts. There are a few exceptions I know Coronado Springs is one I'm not sure what the others are, if any. They cannot be filled at any of the parks though. Its a very good deal IMO.

In December 2007 the mugs cost $12.49 and could be used at any WDW Resorts counter service location since they are the same design. The only Resort where they can not be used is at Coronado Springs because their dining locations are not owned by WDW, so because of that they are still selling their Resort logo mug.

Hey... never thought of this...

we usually bring our mug down for coffee in the morning and bring it on the bus to the park with us, then clean it out at the park when we're done. (strap it onto our bag)..never thought to bring some of those crystal light packets and fill up with water at the fountains or counter service locations.

At the risk of getting a coffee debate going, we liked to fill them up with breakfast, then as we went back to the room to drop them off we would fiil them up with coffee and transfer that over to disposable travel cups to take to the park with us. it helped us get that extra bit of cafene before we got going, but this trick should work with all beveraged on the go.

I can't believe you do this!:rotfl2: just kidding :)

I always pack a couple of the disposable coffee cups in our luggage. if our room is close to the food court area we fill our mugs, then transfer it to the cups and bring the mug back to the room too:thumbsup2

The mugs don't have each individual resort logos on them anymore??? That was a good souvenir!!

How often do they change the artwork on the mug? We bought a mug in May and plan to go back in January. Any ideas.

Since the Year of a Million Dreams is set to end on December 31 2008, I am sure in Janurary they will either have a new set of generic mugs or they will go back to the Resort logo mugs.

I would not start talking about using them on multiple trips, that would be a mess :rotfl:

They will change them at the end of YOAMD, and besides, it would be dishonest to use them on both trips since it says that you can refill them for free until the end of your stay
