Refillable Mug Question# 1,349: May I use one mug when splitting stay at two resorts?

Officially (suppossedly ) the rules NOW are that the mugs are for LOS at the resort purchased at. But, many people from what I've been reading have asked CM's when having split their stay if they could use the mug they just bought at another resort at the next and were told no problem. You'll probably get as many different answers as there can be out there though and it probably depends on which CM you ask -- one will say yes, another may say no so it could be luck of the draw. But I'd just ask -- if you get permission, you're in the clear.

Now, that all said, I have both mugs bought when they were sold as "good forever" and a newer one that was bought under the new "LOS" policy with it written all over the side of the mug. And...on a recent trip to POFQ there were people in the foodcourt refilling Y&B club mugs,all star movies mugs and old POR/FQ mugs (the green ones) and not ONE CM said anything and they were sitting there watching it all happen.

So...for all the replies you're about to get....just ask. If you get the green light from a CM than you are in the clear and have permission and it really won't matter what anyone here on the boards has to say one way or the other.

Sorry to say, but no. I'm at work looking at my mug right now, and beneth the handle it says in cap letters:
REFILLABLE ONLY AT LOCATION PURCHASED. And it also says: FREE REFILLS UNTIL THE END OF YOUR STAY.

So you have to purchase a mug at each resort during your split stay. If a CM let's you get away with it, then fine. I'm just stating the policy printed on the mugs. (Got my mug Dec. 2003.)
