Refillable Mug Poll

We don't take a mug from one visit to another, but we don't always buy a mug either. Some trips we just know we won't use one often enough if at all to justify buying a mug.

We purchase one everytime. Not so much because it's the 'rule' but because I love adding to our collection. I like using my resort mugs when I'm at home - kind of a small Disney fix.

I buy 'em every trip. Not because it's the "Disney Law" but because I need new ones every so often(don't go every year) and I am not about to drag old ones down there. They're not THAT expensive!

We've bought refillable mugs on each trip we've made. Take up room in the luggage if we brought them back each time.

And for $30 for two weeks usage, it doesn't work out bad at all for us

We buy new ones every trip. IMO it's wrong to keep reuseing the same mugs. Especially when it states for the duration of your stay. Not every stay there after. Thats just my opinion.

I have been using the same CR mug for ages.....best investment I ever made!
To top it off I even open a carton of milk at the food n fun or grab n go, pour some into my tea and put the carton back in the fridge
I did get a new mug in March cause they changed the design but I have no qualms about reusing it.

we bought mugs on our March trip - it was worth it for my boyfriend who drinks soda but for me, who pretty much only ever drinks water, it was not worth it. Our original plan was to use the mugs for coffee but we had two problems: 1) we were usually running behind in the mornings and didn't have time to stop and 2) the coffee in WDW is like the worst coffee available

If we are on the dining plan, we don't buy the mug.

Other times, we have not purchased the mugs because it is not convenient to refill in our opinions -like OKW.

We usually drive and bring soda with us for the room. We will be going in June for a week and will be buying the mugs.

Mostly we get one every trip, but not for soda. We don't drink soda anymore - just coffee. Some trips, if you have a coffee maker in the room then it doesn't make sense to buy a mug.

Sometimes it doesn't make sense for us to have to walk all the way tothe food court to get a beverage anyhow (if you stay at big mods). I'm not carrying a mug aroudnt eh park all day with me. I'll just pay for individual drinks.

If we use DDP, then drinks are included anyhow. We like to drink mostly water the rest of the day.

We've never bought a mug, we just don't go to the food court often enough. And to me they seem kind of small for the price.

SIL gave us her mug for our last trip (I know, I know...) We didn't even use it because we never remembered to bring it with us when we were at the food court.

When we stayed at Pop last September I saw lots of people using their old mugs. I was actually kinda jealous because they had pretty tye-dye mugs and mine was that generic YOAMD one - I really hate hearing that the mug won't be much different this year.

In Feb. DH and I took ME to POP and our bus driver was telling the passengers about the mugs. He TOLD us to bring them back year after year!! I thought of the board and how he'd go over here!

When we were debating buying our first mug, a castmember in All-Star Music (who was trying to convince us what a good deal they were) told us to save them and bring them back for our next trip! They definitely don't enforce the policy there.

For my trip in 1999 I bought one and reused it the following year-didn't know that it wasn't supposed to be done!

We did too, & Water bottles, those colored bottles )that were all the rage until the bad stuff in the plastic came out) & even, kid you not a McDonalds cup. Not trying to start anything but it is the truth. We did buy the YOMD mugs. And we were also told at ASMusic in 1996that the mugs are good for each trip.

I usually buy a new one each trip, but this time I'm going twice in the same year so I'm going to reuse the one from february. Disney already got my money from me coming back for a second time this year, I don't think that extra $12 will put them out of business.
