The values have a slightly smaller half size refrigerator that does not have a freezer in it.

It is just for cooling, not freezing.

Okay. We haven't stayed in a value. The fridges we had in CSR, Shades of Green and the Poly all had small freezer compartments. Not saying that they all do, but the ones we had certainly had them.

I am a coffee fiend - but it has to be "real" so I always leave a lovely note for Mousekeeping asking for extras (and also mention that I dont do Decaf). The food court coffee is Nescaf and to me it is blurghhhhh. Also, be aware that once you have had coffee in your refillable mug the only other thing it is good for is cola!

Speaking of coffee, which brand pod style coffee is best? I read that the new POR Royal Rooms which we're booked for have a pod style coffee maker.

The small refrigerators with the freezer section are the exception to the norm. Most do not have a freeze section. Unless you are in a DVC resort. Then most of the refrigerators have freezer sections.

As others have said you can certainly get coffee in the refillable mug. I liked getting it in the food court and adding a little hot coco and milk. We also asked for extra coffee in the room. We left a note for mousekeeping with a few dollars as a tip. We are big coffee drinkers so we bought flavored creamer single servings from home. We didnt notice any issues with the water causing the coffee to taste bad.
