Refillable mug at Aulani- worth it?

Hi,

Just wondering how convenient is the refillable mug. It will just be DH & me and we really just drink water, coffee, and unsweetened iced tea, with an occasional soda.

Are the refill stations convenient or are they just at the pool? We'll be driving in and out and would probably stop for coffee at the refill station if it is convenient to the parking lot.

We just bought one between the two of us and got our beverages. Sometimes we refilled at the one at the pool area. At other times we refilled at the one in the store on the lobby level. It was worth it for the week and we got another souvenir mug we didn't have before.

Coffee is around $3/cup. That definitely adds up over the course of the week. There is coffee in the gift shop(lobby)and downstairs in the Oleo room. I think there is a soda fountain in both places and out by the pool.

There's a soda station in the pool area by The Lava Shack store and another station by the One Paddle, Two Paddle food place but it has limited hours.

We opted not to get the mug, we walked over to the ABC Island store and bought ice tea, water and soda to keep in the room. We also stopped at Target and bought groceries for breakfast, so we decided against the mug. There was only the two of us.
