Refillable cups?

In one of the other groups I belong to, someone is reporting that refillable cups are now available. The cups are supposed to cost $20.

The reported sighting was on Thursday. But unfortunately, no new update with regard to this. That was the only comment that I read.

I’m with you. It sounds stupid but the refillable mugs were a key part of our stay! I can’t imagine it feeling the same without them.

Some good news I think… just read through a page on the Aulani site that details changes made due to covid and included is this bullet point:

Self-Serve Changes: Beverages and other items that were previously self-serve, including the refillable mug program, will be suspended.

I think the use of the word “suspended” is a strong indication that this is a temporary. Yay!

We are going in late October. Dumb question: we still have our Aulani refillable mugs from 2016. Are they still good? (dumb question, but had to ask! ;-) ).
