Refill Mug Question

Good Morning,

This will be our second time to WDW and we are thinking of taking advantage of the refill mug. Is the mug only refillable at the hotel or does it work in the parks and DTD as well??? I am just wondering how this works. We are staying at POR and I know I read that it was good at POR and POFQ.
