Referral Incentive Question

I am aware of the various levels of incentive rewards and how for each person you refer the more you get until you are capped off at level 5. I am confused though, On the DVCmember.com website it states that "within a calendar year". how does that work. Our first referral was in 9/08 so do I have until 9/09 for others to join and continue in the upwards scale or did we start over at the 200 referral amount for the friend who just joined this month since it is a technical calendar year of Jan-Dec? I guess my question is, when they say "calendar year" do they mean Jan-Dec calendar year or ONE year from when your first referral was. Can anyone help me with this?

I too need to know if you just have to make a refferal or does that refferal have to become a DVC member for u to get your incentive?

You don't receive the reward until the contract is signed.

The calendar year runs January through December. So your 2008 referrals are now a completed cycle. January 2009 started the year again...

That is a bummer, but like you said, more time in Disney the better!!! You will have so many awesome trips to plan, PLUS A CRUISE!!! Isn't Derek great?
