Referral bonus?

Hi everyone...

We had the pleasure of talking DVC membership to a couple of our good friends, who are now new members. They put us down for referrals... so I have a question of, "what is the bonus", for us? and "do we need to do anything to claim it?".

Although I'd like to think our discussions had a play in it, I think they were sold before talking to us.

You normally first get a letter from your guide saying thanks for referring so-and-so.

Then if they buy, you get another letter announcing your bonus.

It is a sliding scale - the information is on the DVCmember site under "Sharing the Magic". I think it's $200 or $250 for a first referral in a year - you can take it as gift card, towards your dues, etc.

It also depends upon where you live. Several states are not eligible for a referral bonus.
